Recabinet 3.5.1 for Mac has been released, which fixes a serious bug with Recabinet 3.5 in Logic 9 64 bit. We recommend that all Mac users download the update.

The challenge here is summing up the what a huge and multi-faceted impact that 13mb of software can have on not just a mix or live environment , but the inspirational value it has when inserting it into the same channel as your favorite amp sim and having it bring out huge layers of thick colors to work with. It was very stimulating to experiment with all the available amp sims and hear the tangible difference that Recabinet made in the realism of the tone.

Recabinet is OS X Mountain Lion Ready

Recabinet 3.1 is ready for Apple’s latest OS X version, Mountain Lion. Tonight, we uploaded code-signed installers with our Developer ID, in compliance with the new Gatekeeper feature in OS X Mountain Lion. Additionally, Recabinet 3.1 has been thoroughly tested in OS X Mountain Lion. Please note: if you’ve already installed Recabinet 3.1, there’s no need to download or install it again, the plugin itself has not changed, just the installer.
